Well-known brand and Reliable valve manufacturer of bronze valve-FLOWORK
FLOWORK INC. valve has studied and developed for long years on bronze valve production. Our competitive bronze product include bronze gate valve, bronze globe valve, bronze check valve, bronze ball valve, bronze plug valve, bronze control valve, bronze butterfly valve, bronze strainer etc. Also we have been developing rare metals materials over twenty years, such as TITANIUM, DUPLEX etc, which widely applied to oil
v The advantage(benefits) of bronze valve:
Bronze is an alloy consisting mainly of copper, combined most often with tin, but sometimes also with other metals. Bronze resists corrosion (especially seawater corrosion) and metal fatigue more than steel and is also a better conductor of heat and electricity than most steels. It is applied widely in marine fields as a durable material of high hardness and good wear-resistance.
v The work conditions where bronze valve applied:
Widely used in boat and ship fittings, especially marine valves because of resistance to salt water corrosion.
v The difference between bronze valve and brass valve and stainless steel valve
A valve may be constructed of several types of materials, both metallic and nonmetallic. Metallic materials include bronze, brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, ductile iron, and nonmetallic materials are typically PVC .
Bronze and brass valves are usually limited to sizes 2 inches and smaller brass valves are used for water services.
Sedelon ®Brass valves should not be used for operating temperatures above 450°F (232.2°C), and Sedelon ®bronze valves should be limited to uses below 550°F (287.8°C).
Stainless steel valves are available in a wide variety of alloys and often are used for pure water and other services requiring noncorrosive materials.
